Description
Preservation Hall has been playing wonderful jazz on St. Peter Street in the French Quarter since 1961. Its original mission was to protect, preserve, and perpetuate traditional New Orleans Jazz; it has done that and so much more. This extremely small venue of just a few chairs quickly became an important place to see rising young talent, as well as established names. Everyone that visits New Orleans should try to stop by for an evening full of wonderful musical treats.
- "Preservation Hall. Now that's where you'll find all of the greats." — Louis Armstrong
