Description
Crabs are an important part of Louisiana dining - crab and corn bisque, crab meat au gratin, crab cakes, seafood gumbo with crabs, and lots more. Here, this guy is just the way most folks like them: hot boiled and already seasoned in the water so that the meat is a little spicy - NOLA style.

Art provides an opportunity for kaleidoscopic thinking. Each time we shift the lens of our perceptions, we gain new perspectives — and new opportunities for innovation. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR RECENT SALE OF AN WONDERFUL WORK!

This is one good-looking crab, Diane! Congrats on your sale! Also, my daughter and I have had the pleasure of viewing many of your paintings at Louisiana Crawfish Time, a restaurant in Lafayette, Louisiana this past Friday! I recognized your art at once! I was so excited to look closely at each one. You have such great talent! Of course we ate delicious, boiled crawfish and shrimp instead of crabs that night. Our waiter said that many people complimented your paintings! Just wanted to let you!!!

What a lovely painting, Dianne! The composition is interesting going off the edges, the patterns of the lines and checkerboard, and I love the blues against the oranges. Just a great painting! Happy New Year! and may you have a great one! L/f
