Artist's Description

The St. Charles Streetcar (1835) is a national historic landmark and, for locals and tourist alike, it is the most popular way of getting around in New Orleans. Whenever you are in New Orleans, hop on a streetcar and just ride around until you see a street that you would like to explore. Along the way, you'll enjoy taking in the wonderful color of New Orleans as you go clickedly-clacking along. Painted in the classic olive green that has been the standard for so many years, I surrounded the car with alternate green hues of the surrounding foliage.
