Artist's Description

The Pontalba Buildings on both sides of Jackson Square in the French Quarter, house shops and restaurants and the upper floors are apartments that are the oldest continuously rented apartments in the United States. With St. Louis Cathedral on one side of the Square, the Mississippi River on the opposite side, the Pontablas in between, and the many artists and street performers, there are sights to be seen, day or night! When I painted on the Square while in art school, I was lucky enough to spend my days here.

A New Orleans artist, I paint the New Orleans life with its colorful streets, serene bayous and unique food in paintings filled with light and color.
